Proof that My Husband is the Cutest Person on the Planet.

Ya'll remember the cute little Valentine's present Newlywed Husband brought me, right??? Particularly the singing balloon that Winston the doggie abhorred...



Well, the balloon finally started to go limp this week, so Newlywed Husband came up with the idea of sending it off into space {instead of the rather unpleasant alternatives of waiting for it to die and throwing it away, or ending it's little helium-filled life with scissors and then throwing it away}.

Here he is outside with the balloon, just before sendoff (we waited until it was dark so the neighbors couldn't see us and tell us just how crazy they think we are :).


Newlywed Husband tapped the balloon and it started singing, and then let it float away into space. We could faintly hear "...how sweet it is to be loved by you..." for a few minutes.


Before it drifted completely out of sight. Ahhh love.
